During Queen Victoria's Reign Men were considered to be Gentlemen and Women were considered to be beneath them! Husband's had the right to punish their wives and often did, very severely! It was not uncommon for a husband to take his wife into his study, were he would Thrash her behind using such implements as, switches, straps and leather belts!
Lord Cunningham was a man who commanded respect from
both his peers and his family. With 3 daughter's and an errant wife to contend
with, his was not an easy task! However, he was a man of discipline, and he
believed in very strict discipline. Which was the reason behind his decision to
hire a very strict governess to govern their daughters. As for his errant wife,
well, in their younger days he had often punished her himself, over his knee,
over a chair anywhere he damned well pleased.
These days of course he never punished her physically.
In had
ordered her over his knee and given
her bared bottom a sound spanking. The thought of it though had caused him to
become aroused. Then he remembered why he had stopped doing it. He loved his
wife so much, she was still so beautiful but, how could he possibly do to her
the things he done to Rosie, his mistress. She would hate him so if he had dared
to try.
Lady Cunningham was a beautiful woman in the prime of
her life.
She had met and married her husband 18yrs ago. Or,
rather, her father had met, and arranged for her to marry her husband. Although
a battle in the early days she had soon come to love and respect her, handsome
young husband. Like her father, Albert Cunningham had used physical punishment's
to gain her obedience. In those early days she had rebelled at every
opportunity
she could and had received many, very sound thrashing's for having done so.
Albert often used humiliation too. Forcing her to remove her clothing and stand,
naked before him, legs wide apart, before commanding she bend over the back of a
chair. His riding crop was his favorite
implement. He would taunt her with it
first. Placing it between her legs, gliding it upwards inside the cheeks of her
buttock's then lifting it high and bringing it down upon her bottom with such
force, her legs often buckled at the knee's. He would make her count them out
too.
